1) Unit Executive & Ladies Auxiliary Joint Installation - - The joint installation was held on Sunday February 11th 2007 and was well attended.  Check the "photo" section for pictures.

SPECIAL  EVENTS >>>>>

The "A B B A..... AGAIN" night with a special evening meal on Nov 24th was a HUGE success and plans are underway for a lot more exciting events in the very near future so stop by the club and check out all the upcoming events in person.

NEW  YEARS  EVE  DINNER & DANCE:  Tickets are now available for the dinner & dance at ONLY $45 per person or if you're not in the mood for food but just the dance... the tickets for the DANCE  ONLY are also on sale for just $25 per person.  A great band will be in attendance .... "XSTATIC"... and they usually pack the place so get your tickets early.

THE "B I G  BAND" SOUNDS: The Legion Big-Band group will be playing at the club on December 15th with all of their great music.  This is also another great group with a HUGE following so make sure to drop by and get your seat early.... in fact... drop by for the meat & turkey draw starting at 4:00pm - enjoy a great meal from "THE GALLEY" - then sit back and enjoy the sounds of the LEGION TAKE-FIVE BAND.

DONATIONS  FROM  UNIT #284

Donations were presented Dec 9th/20006 by Chuck McDonald to Capt. Kevin Goyak of the Salvation Army in the amount of $1,000 and also to Margaret Hewlett, manager of the Richmond Food Bank in the amount of $6,500.

A sincere well-done to all of those who attend the meat-draws which makes it possible for us to assist many of these deserving organizations.

A scholarship bursary of $500 was presented January 2007 to Nadine Wheeler, grand-daughter of Elene (Tiger) Valiant.  Nadine finished her 1st semester for a Business Management degree at Douglas College.
